Puppies Burnt Alive, FIR Registered in Nalasopara Police Station We are looking for Culprits

We came to know through Facebook and DNA News paper dtd. 17.10.2014 about a brutal incident where 4 puppies were burnt by the people of a famous posh housing society located in Vasai East known as krishna sagar society

This incident in itself really hurt us and moreover when we read that the police officials did not co-operate the complainants to register this case. So today morning we spoke with the animal lovers of that area on phone and the PAWA team - Mr. Salim Charania, Ms. Pooja Bhandari, Ms. Chandra Singh & Mr. Sudhir Parmar went to the Nallasopara West Police station instantly. We met the complainants personally there itself and understood the whole matter well. The notice regarding animal cruelty was been sent to that society by some animal NGO, but the society didn't take the notice seriously. We also met the Government Doctor who certified the puppies with the burn injury to the extent of 90%. Even after having this certificate, the case was not easy to get it registered, as the API officers on duty were not showing their willingness to proceed ahead, hence we had an strong argument with them on this after looking at their indifferent outlook towards animals and esp. the stray dogs, which later on turned out into a heated argument. Thereafter we met the Senior Police Inspector and explained him the mindset and approach of their API officers on duty towards this case. After a long session of unwanted arguments the case was finally registered and the FIR done in the name of unknown person(s) under section 428 of the Indian Penal Code & section 11 (1) (l) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. This whole process took a good time of 5 hours to get the case registered.

Looking at the approach and arguments of the API officers on duty, it seemed it was the first FIR registered in the Nallasopara Police Station on Animal Cruelty, but unfortunately the justice is yet pending as the name of the culprit(s) is still unknown. So PAWA India would like to announce a cash reward to the locals of kishna sagar society and near by area that whoever has witnessed the incident shall please come up and contact us through our website HYPERLINK "" to bring justice to these innocent puppies who were yet to see the world and lead their god gifted life which is the most precious thing on this planet earth.

We would also be printing & distributing the leaflets on this case, we hope someone to approach us and stand strong as a witness and we will then ask the police officers to arrest the culprits. During this case few other others animal lovers also accompanied us along with the complainants Mr. Ganesh Rane & Mrs. Aureen Rane.

Team : Salim Charania, Pooja Bhandari, Sudhir Parmar, Chandra Singh.

News that shock us, We came in to action after reading horrible n brutal murder of puppies
